He is a Lover of music, art, the ocean, music, and more music! Born April 18, 1983 David Peterson Jr. a.k.a. DJ2X (times) grew up on the Westside of the island of Oahu, Hawaii, in a small town called Waianae. Coming from an n extended family of nothing but musicians, singers, entertainers, and music lovers, it was only natural for DJ2X to do it as part of his career.

He first learned to play the Ukulele at the age of 7 by one of his siblings boyfriends and still picks it up every so often. After gotten introduced to ukulele, it became natural and he was mastering it easily. Once he got into high school, he joined the award winning Searider Productions multimedia class and that is where everything fell into its place. During his high school days, he self-taught him everything behind the scenes in music such as production and beat making, live and studio engineering for many different private and public gigs, and even was mix DJ at clubs around Oahu.

After high school, he kept pursuing his musical enjoyment by interning at a local radio station and eventually becoming a producer/engineer of a local independent Hip Hop label based out of Kaneohe, Oahu. A few years later, DJ2X realized that he wanted to expand his knowledge in music and venture out into the music industry, so he decided to move to Atlanta, GA and graduated at the Art Institute of Atlanta with a bachelors degree in Audio Production.

Since moving to Atlanta in late 2006, DJ2X has worked with numerous independent artist as a freelance engineer and continues to grow to be a top notch Producer/Engineer out coming from the small islands of Hawaii.
